From personal training, she came to Balboa, where she enjoys the freedom to “do her own thing” – and that is what makes Andrea individual and unique as a coach.

BodyBoost

This was one of the first classes developed at Balboa, with a mixture of cardio, strength, stability, and flexibility. The dynamic, intensive aspects of Andreas' workout leave a satisfying feeling after 60 minutes on the gym floor.

Andrew Monk

Andrew is a passionate, energetic and enthusiastic fitness professional with a wealth of knowledge and skills based on almost 15 years of experience. “I like to focus on the general health and well-being of the human body. Safe, effective and functional training and injury prevention are my focus. “Stay fit, stay healthy, be happy!

Five Rounds

 In this class, you will work with Andrew on mobility, strength, power, agility and endurance. In addition, this training will help you to improve your essential fitness and burn body fat. Five rounds contains different exercises of different intensities that are suitable for both beginners and advanced trainees.

Antonio Larosa

Balboa is more than just training; Antonio is a passionate part of it. For him, life is like a boxing match - and the training teaches life: Patience, respect, adaptability, and the ability to take it in and then get stronger and fight on are just the beginning.

Boxing

Boxing is the ultimate full-body workout. Coordination, strength, speed, reaction, endurance and mental stability are trained. In this workout, you mainly work with a partner and practice punch combinations and all other movements needed in boxing. No hits to the head unless you and your training partner have a mouthguard and enough experience for sparring.

Enduro

Your body is crying out for a change in sport and would like to be challenged in terms of coordination? Then "Enduro" is the right sparring partner for you on your way there. This strength and conditioning training focuses on different tasks that aim to make you physically and mentally stronger. Suitable for all fitness levels.

Erich Zuger

"You make your own luck. You have to be able to look in the mirror in the morning and be satisfied with yourself – not just with your abdominal muscles, but also with your gut feeling.” That's not just Erich's motto; it's also his training style: authentic, honest and individual. 

300 Workout

Ready for the red carpet: Gerard Butler and 50 actors had to get fit in a short time for the film '300'. The method is simply 300 repetitions of various exercises for the whole body.

Et Lam

It was the sport that made the former refugee and triathlete Et, who has a wide range of interests, process and forget his suffering and also pushed him to coach. Whether tennis, gymnastics, ice hockey, football or handball, swimming, cycling or running - Et is at the forefront with a lot of interest, fun, endurance and heart.

Balboa RUN

Simply running might not seem the obvious choice for a workout, but Et makes this experience challenging by incorporating different tempos and terrains into the mix to encourage you to develop your ability to be more than just putting one foot in front of the other.

Florencia Ailin Guarco

Florencia brings a positive and uplifting attitude to her workouts at Balboa, she will encourage you to get the most out of your body with her coaching style by pushing you to work hard but within your limits. 

Energia

You will challenge your body through many different positions within this workout. Florencia works only with body weight. Therefore, it is perfect for beginners and intermediates, but due to the intensity will be hard training for any level of fitness.

Jerry Wieland

Jerry has been with us at Balboa since the beginning. He knows his audience and how to get the very best out of them within his workouts.

His style of athletic training gets you completely engaged while pushing you to find your inner athlete. 

Körperbau

With a mix of street workouts and American Football, this workout doesn’t follow any specific sequence of exercises but focuses on you. With elements from mobility and athleticism, this workout is adjusted to your potential so you can improve your weaknesses and break with your limits.

Luca Nussbaumer

"Health, contentment and gratitude are the most important things in life" - that's precisely what Luca passes on to Balboa with commitment, helpfulness and wit. "Nowhere is the trainer carousel as diverse as here - and everyone can train as they want." If he seems like a tough nut to crack, it's only because he's focused on bringing out the best in you.

MuskelBränner OUTDOOR

This workout takes place in the open air. Luca offers demanding and intensive athletic and coordination training with only a simple additional weight or only with body weight.

Luke Wewege


Luke brings his style to Balboa training from cape Town, SA. He is an experienced coach who understands the body and how to train it. With a solid education and background in coaching, he knows how to put a workout together to get the most out of you in a session. 

Dynamo

Whether you are a beginner or advanced, this class is for you, regardless of your fitness level. By combining basic movement patterns like pull, push, squat, lunge, hinge, and rotation, we want to build different athletic qualities like flexibility, strength and endurance. It's going to be action-packed.

Malick NDiaye

Malick quickly found that movement drives him - he's reluctant, if ever, to function without it and his must-have Sudden Rush Guarana Shot. The trained physical education teacher likes to appreciate Balboa's "crazy bunch" - "people think beyond the training and also treat themselves to a beer every now and then".

Every workout is aimed at a functionally developed musculoskeletal system. Mastering everyday obstacles without causing injury and automating movement sequences – that’s what it’s all about. Visible success is guaranteed in the shortest possible time at every level!

Maria Pontou

Maria is a firm but kind, well-founded yoga and fitness instructor with a light-hearted touch and a large portion of humour to give you the best experience every time you visit her classes.

Sweat

In this high-intensity class, our experienced yoga and fitness trainer Maria, will guide you through a unique training system focusing on movement quality and intensity. A workout gradually increases the power and makes you sweat to your limits! If you enjoy clean exercise and want to challenge your cardiovascular system, this class is for you!

Rahel Birschinger

Rahel is a Crossfitter with a gymnastics base. It's important to her that people switch off the outside world and have fun in her workouts. Rahel engages with people on and off the floor to ensure they get the most out of her workouts.

CircleX

CircleX is a full body workout that combines endurance and strength. The recipe for success is simple: 6 different items combined with the factor "X", which stands for the surprise exercises and thus brings with it a large portion of fun. The training is suitable for all sports levels, as the exercises are often based on your own weight and can be easily adapted to any level. Variety is guaranteed, time flies by in an instant and the feeling after the workout is priceless!

Sandy Hager

Turn your passion into a job - Sandy finds her joy in coaching, and her love for training has grown with this. Sandy likes it unconventional, accessible and highly creative - one reason she is with Balboa.

B Tough

Timo Klein

The comeback after a serious sports accident gave Timo new strength and the motivation to deal intensively with health. As Head Coach and Partner at Balboa, he aims to instil a healthy lifestyle and a way of living that goes beyond training - he wants to "create an awareness that there is more to it than just training".

BuddyWeight

With BuddyWeight, you push yourself and your buddy to the performance limit - without any training machines. A combination of coordination and interval training activates your metabolism - to strengthen your body and control it in every situation - right at your limit!

Tom's unlimited patience and power support you in going to your limits. For Tom, everyone who trains is a winner and part of the Balboa Family: “because only together we are strong”.

Kettlebell Skills

This is about one thing: The iron ball with the handle - the kettlebell. Endless possibilities and exercise variations guarantee varied but very focused training. How to use the kettlebell is learned in small steps and slow movements before it is implemented in a workout with high intensity and many repetitions. Due to the different weights of the kettlebells, they are ideal for beginners and advanced users.
